We seeking bright, adaptable, and hardworking applicants to work at office in Astana.  A successful IT Support Engineer excels in a dynamic team environment and possesses excellent communication skills. You should have a high degree of technical aptitude over a large scope of IT software, hardware, and networking disciplines.  This role will suit a highly personable candidate who has a good experience building and maintaining relationships with senior management and appreciate the fast paced, time sensitive world that they live and work in. Training and mentoring will be provided and you can expect to grow your career in this roll.

Regular activities include: 

  • Providing support to VIP employees in accordance with Company vision and standards;
  • Deploying and Supporting Windows;
  • Supporting PC hardware, software, and peripherals;
  • Deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting wired networks;
  • Administering and troubleshooting web-based tools;
  • Managing IT Inventory and procuring PC hardware;

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years hands-on IT Support experience
  • 2+ years hands-on VIP IT Support experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or IT related field
  • 2+ years supporting PC hardware and Microsoft Windows OS (including Office and Emails) in an enterprise environment
  • Experience in supporting Office equipment (Printers, MFU, Scanners);
  • Experience in supporting Mobile phones and Tablets;
  • Intermediate English level
  • Understanding of computer networking concepts
  • Proven ability in communicating verbally and in writing with peers, management, contractors and vendors
  • Experience working autonomously with limited supervision
  • Ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with trouble ticketing systems (Service Desk system, including SLA and KPI)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of directory services including Active Directory, LDAP, GP, DNS, DHCP
  • Experience with data cabling and computer facilities maintenance
  • Knowledge of Telephone technology, including E1, VoIP and Analogue lines;
  • Network protocol knowledge, such as UDP, TCP/IP VoIP
